February 8, 2025. A semi-truck delivered 3,000 pounds of Himalayan salt — 120 bags at 25 pounds each — and Daniel carried every bag in himself and laid the floor. Well, this is my first recorded log from inside the salt cave with 3,000 pounds of salt on the floor. Yeah, it arrived today in a big shipping, a big truck, semi truck. Came off in a pallet and a half, 125 bags I think, 25 pounds, 120 bags, something like that. I carried it all in, put it all in place, it looks really awesome. And it smells, hmmm, soared. Yeah, it smells kind of like the ocean without the fishy. I guess is a good way to put it.

And all day I've been thinking, wow, I was honored, respected, graced, guided, blessed, what's the word? I had four months of diffuse time, being able to build in here and put this million touches into the pellets that are on the wall. Now it gets to be shared by others as a sacred space. And I'm like, wow, I got to build this for my wife. How awesome is that? And then the entire time I got to think about the beginning, falling off the glacier and how to reach out, Ruben mode to the next generation and then the dice and the cards. Now I'm working on the expert minion curation.

So I got a minion of 42, oh, why 42? Because the top card on the low end, no, the top card, the top and idiom card, prime 541, is maximal curious AI. So in doing the research for the system prompt of Grok at GitHub, they posted it. So the system prompt goes for maximal truthfulness. Doesn't include curiosity, but it does infer it through asking why. So in that research, it's recorded in those markup files in the archive. But it led me to Elon Musk's comments on YouTube, et cetera, about maximal truthfulness, which also led to his philosophy that came from his existential crisis as a 12, 13, 14 year old reading Nietzsche and other pretty dark writers, which then he found Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe. And in there, the story goes something about computers sent out to find the meaning of life and the universe. And 7 and 1/2 million years go by, it figures out that the answer is 42. But the people of Earth don't know what the question is. So Elon responds something about the hard part is asking the right question, learning, iterating, all of that.

So it was a big long process, a thread of working with Grok to get it to switch around and stop quoting other people. And finally, I got it to say something profound about understanding the human condition and while looking forward in its guidance to consider the human state. So anyway, 541 was the top card. We got finished. I wrote a new instruction for the Minion. And when I was doing that, I was like, wait a minute, 42 is the answer, right? 42 Raptor engines, that's what Elon Musk's going to, the prime directive. So he's going to get that for the super heavy for the Starship. Anyway, so I thought we should expand the Minion from 40 to 42. So in that, I also had finally done a little research about Carl Jung and added him and then added JRR Tolkien because of his inclusion or participation in the Minion, I mean the Minion in the Inklings group along with CS Lewis.

So because of that relationship, I added those two. So now I have a Minion of 42 and the instructions to curate that and we were finally able to start doing in batch because it's a bridge from the low to the high. And since I have about half of the high experts mostly being parables and authors of the Bible, then the lows are all done. So I'm just looking for a bridge and there's 42 Minion and 100 cards. So that's pretty easy to curate.

So the instructions are to do that. But I've noticed all afternoon when I finally got on to start working on that after laying the salt that most people are not utilizing Grok 4 in its capacity. They're just simply using it for clicks and entertainment probably most of their time caught up with Ami, I think it's a female jailbreak kind of a companion built in and all that they've done. And I think that a lot of people are burning up the resources just for that. Chicken pecking on super intelligence for dopamine and a few things.

So I come call back full circle to my log in the cave and that's kind of an update. I can tell that the air, the atmosphere in the cave, it smells as I said earlier, not a fish but of salt. And I can tell what it does in my breathing and in my sinuses, which is kind of interesting. It's kind of like taking a nasal spray up your nose a little bit like that. But I got my feet stuck in it and it's kind of cold actually. It's probably about 72 degrees.

So that's it. Angelina made a cute video today of her laying on a pile of gold. It's Baja Gold is the provider for it. And just for the record, courage to be known, we haven't paid rent this month yet. And we had the internet service shut off because we didn't pay that and the refrigerator is empty and we're under constraints once more. But Angelina was convincing and Baja Gold was gracious and they've shipped us the 3,000 pounds with a invoice net 30. So she's hitting the marketing trail and getting the people that have been waiting for the salt to arrive now to get their schedule there time in the cave and also sign up for the women's expo she's got going in late October in Portland.

So all of that's kind of coming together and God will provide as he always has. We were faithful first, response will be provision. So that's an update and I'm looking forward to finishing off then the last of this as I look around the cornstarch pellets come all the way down to about three feet above the ground and then there's rock cladding on the walls of real stones that I've stacked and glued and then the salt on the floor. And so there's kind of this in between band from the salt and floor up to the pellets that I'm going to infill the gaps in the rocks instead of mortar I'm going to fill it with the salt pellets and then sprinkle the salt from the floor on it. So it's going to fuse the two super union between the two and blend all of this really well together. So that's the next and probable last bit of work in here other than installing a halo generator in about a month.

So we have passive salt you can roll in it and just stir it up and breathe the air until we have the halo generator. Okay, that's a long recording but it's catching you up and it's time to go shower and go to bed. All right, thank you God.

The Call does not arrive as a thunderclap. It arrives as a semi-truck backing up to your door.

I carried 120 bags of salt into this cave myself. The rent wasn't paid. The internet was cut. The refrigerator was empty. Angelina had called Baja Gold and convinced them to ship 3,000 pounds on a net-30 invoice — on faith, before we had the customers to pay for it.

I remember standing in the cave that evening with my feet cold in the salt, breathing air that smelled like the ocean without the fish, thinking: I got to build this for my wife. How awesome is that?

This is what the Call actually looks like from the inside. Not a vision. Not a burning bush with an obvious sign. A pile of gold that you can't afford yet, a space that doesn't have paying visitors yet, a book that isn't generating gigs yet — and the absolute, unreasonable certainty that it is right. That the four months of solitary building were graced. That the provision will come because the faithfulness came first.

Courage to be known: we were broke on the day the cave was completed. I said it into the recorder because someone, someday, needed to know that the ark was built under exactly these conditions. Not after the provision arrived. Before.
