Can I actually see salt in the air?
Can I actually see salt in the air?
Answer
Yes. This spa wants you to see it, not take it on faith.
The halogenerator fills the cave with dry salt aerosol before the rest, then it is turned off so the session stays quiet. Angelina’s “Seeing Salt in the Air” page and video show a flashlight test: outside the door, a clean beam; inside, even 45–60 minutes after the generator stops, tiny sparkling specks at the height where you sit and breathe. Those are 1–5 micron particles. Light scatters off them, the same trick as dust in a sunbeam. Guests also mention a salty taste on the tongue and a mineral feel on the lips.
That is physical proof the room is not an empty pretty cave. It does not mean the cave is a hospital. Breathe normally. The salt is already there.
Ask to see the flashlight if you want. Text 541-340-4606.
