# Barefoot or socks on the salt?

## Answer

Both are provided for.

If you wish to be barefoot in the cave, clean your feet before you come, and wear socks until arrival — unless you are having a magnesium foot soak in the spa, which cleanses your feet then. Bare feet on Baja Gold is part of the sensory invitation on the homepage.

If you wish to wear your own socks, disposable booties are provided to cover them so the salt floor stays as the house keeps it.

You do not have to lie down in the salt. Chairs are there for the rest. If someone has a foot wound or cannot put a bare foot in mineral salt, they should ask Angelina — there is no posted medical rule beyond common sense and a doctor’s advice. Text 541-340-4606.
