# Can I wear perfume or essential oils?

## Answer

Please do not. The session page asks you to avoid wearing perfumes or strong scents because of a possible sodium chloride chemical response.

That includes perfume, cologne, strongly scented lotion, and essential-oil armor you put on in the car. The cave is a small, still room where other people in your party (and Angelina) will breathe whatever you brought. The house already uses cinnamon steam as a chosen modality in the spa — that is not an invitation to layer more fragrance.

If scent is how you usually get ready, skip it for this visit. If a guest cannot be without a medical ointment that has a smell, text 541-340-4606 rather than surprising the room.

Come clean, lightly dressed, ready to rest. The salt is the atmosphere.
