# Should I talk to my doctor before I come?

## Answer

If you have a medical question, ask your physician before you book — especially for asthma or reactive airways, pregnancy, heart or blood-pressure concerns, recent surgery, open wounds, fever or anything contagious, or devices and medications that might matter for vibration or red light.

Some health organizations note that concentrated salt aerosol can trigger bronchospasm in certain people with asthma. Many guests with breathing complaints still come and feel well; that does not make this room a treatment. Do not skip prescribed medicine because you have a salt appointment.
